The National Women’s Show- Always a Great Annual Show! Event Photography to capture the weekend.

This event is is huge with over 500 exhibits!
When I have the privilege of working for an event that I had previously attended as a guest, it is pretty neat. This was the case for The National Women’s Show, which is an annual three day conference run by National Events.
This event occurs every fall in Toronto and is a huge success. The show truly has something for everyone. Whether you are seeking a girls’ day (or just a couple of hours), want to hear great speakers, are interested in the latest fashion trends, seeing your favorite soap star or if you just want to try lots of free samples of everything from food to makeup to beauty products…this is the place to come. There are vendors with products for your kids, home decor and pets. With speakers throughout the day on one of three stages, talking about health and fitness, beauty/fashion or life advice…there are so many options each day. Do you love wine tasting…the show has that too!

Can you say wine tasting??

Vendors have a great time!

The first two years I attended the show as a guest, I saw two actors from Young And The Restless. It was entertaining to listen to Doug Davidson (Paul) and Christian LeBlanc (Michael Baldwin). I missed Don Diamont this past year (Bill Spencer of B& B, former Brad Y&R). Doug Davidson was pretty funny and Christian LeBlanc was cool (he was super cute in person). They answered many questions for guests. It was lots of fun and the crowd is always packed for the actors and public speakers at the shows each year.
Admission is only $15 (less if purchased in advance) and your gift bag is worth more than that with mini gifts and loads of coupons. A ticket even lets you go in and out on various days.

There were hundreds of photos that I submitted to National Events for their future marketing. I aimed to capture the fun atmosphere and positive energy of the show. I admired that the show had something to offer for every age, hobby and background.

Fashion shows throughout the day. I loved how the fashion show had REAL MODELS of every age, so women felt like they could actually wear these fashions!

Small to large size businesses displayed their products.

So many samples from both new and older beauty products.

Did I mention all the free samples??

Tequila Rose may win the award for the most entertaining show, with enthusiastic guests and screams!

May be my favorite photo from this event. Every age enjoyed.
If you want to see more shows that National Events organizes, check out their website. You may have already been to some of their shows, as they run across Canada in a few major cities. Upcoming is their annual The Outdoor Adventure and Travel Show in both Toronto and Vancouver. Check them out.
What features make for a great public show when you attend? I personally love the free samples and when a show has a variety of interests and topics.
