Join me for TIFF 2016- First time for everything. Red carpet ready!

celebrity photographer for TIFF 2016 - red carpet ready!I have photographed  many corporate events, conferences and gala’s over the years.  Photographing a true red carpet festival is a new adventure for me.  It is one that I am going to enjoy and make the most of.  If I sell some shots via Getty Images……bonus!  That is the goal and why Getty is sending me, to capture some photos of celebrities on the red carpet during the Toronto International Film Festival this year. These images will be sold worldwide.  As I do with every assignment, I will be giving it my all, despite not being Getty’s main ‘Staffer Photographers’. Rather, I am a ‘Wirelmage Contributor’…along with a competitive group of other photographers i’m guessing.

Although it is not known until the night before which red carpet premiers I will be photographing, I am working 6 of the 10 days.   I did work on set for Melissa DiMarco’s party suite last year for the film festival. The energy at the Intercontinental Hotel where all the press junkets and shows occur are definitely at an all time high.  This year I will be more center of all the action, so i’m sure it will be even more of a rush.

I decided to add an extra fun element to my experiences during the festival, and document some  of my first time journey with little videos. I will post via instagram.  I have no idea if these videos will be interesting, or what I will be encountering, but I figure ‘why not?!”, you only live once.  That is what instagram is about…telling your story, sharing some of your journeys.  Why not go out of my comfort zone and do mini videos, and not just document through photography.  Wish me luck!

You can follow me here for my red carpet experience at Toronto International Film Festival this year!
