Passing of a great singer and performer- Scott Weiland
It is weird how a passing of a unique musician affects you. I have never met Scott, but one feels like you knew them from the countless times you listened to their albums. I own three Stone Temple albums, and I can’t even tell you how many times I listened to the Purple album. I had last listened to it about 5 months ago in my car. It just bring you back to highschool and university and what energy the music brought at that time to your life.
I was fortunate to photograph Scott Weiland years ago at a Toronto concert for a magazine. You can feel his energy in these two shots. He was an amazing peformer who gave 150%. We all know he had major struggles, but that doesn’t take away how he made millions of people truly feel through his original voice and music. #RIPScottWeiland
